La Finca's mirage

Mirage is a quiet, experienced mother who has given us several outstanding ciras.  She is a good mother, and easy keeper, and will be bred this spring to our champion Tomas de Bosque.  Mirage's last cria was also out of Tomas and we were so impressed with the silky fine fiber we have decided to repeat the breeding.  Mirage   has also retained her fineness over the years. Her 2019 fiber stats showed AFD of 23.6 and CF of 93%. She was 9 1/2 years old!  

Tomas has very soft, silky fiber and placed second at the 2019 CALPACA show and color champion at the 2022 CALPACA show.  The judge's comments was on the incredible finesses for a five year old breeding male.  Tomas is out of our friendly alpaca line.  He loves inspecting visitors, always in hopes of a treat.
