HAND LOOMED RUGS

These area rugs are hand loomed using 100% alpaca from our own animals spun around a jute core. This creates a very durable rug that resists odors, staining, and stands up to wear. The unique rugs show occasional unevenness and nubs which is normal and gives each rug it’s unique and one-of-a kind look. Rugs may be vacuumed which will remove most dirt however, spots are easily removed with mild soap and cool water. Smaller rugs can also be washed in a large front load washer in gentle/delicate in cold water. Lay flat to dry. Larger rugs may also be hand washed in tub, shower or draped over a wide bench or table. We have rugs all over our house and only one in front of our bathroom sink has ever needed washing in over 10 years, the rugs are truly easy care.
